Yanmei (Kiki) Zeng is a ceramist born and raised in Sichuan, China. She moved to Brisbane in 2016 and has been based in Cudgen/Goodjing since 2023. Kiki's early artwork reflects her upbringing in a culture that values balance, harmony, and the exploration of contrasts such as static versus movement and soft against rough. In addition to her creative pursuits, Kiki works as a software engineer. Her experiences in the tech world have inspired her to merge the precision of technology with the organic nature of hand-built ceramics, resulting in a unique and innovative body of work.
